It's A Girl!

Today it was confirmed that we are expecting a baby girl in October. We are a bit shocked yet very blessed that everything looks great and that she is in good health. Luke has no idea what he's in for, nor do us for that matter. This is unknown territory for us but it will be quite the adventure. The great thing is that she's going to have a fabulous big brother to take care of her. She's already a lucky girl.

We've reached another milestone in Luke's life and it wasn't a pleasant one. He went to the dentist yesterday for his first check-up. Despite a dog, Teletubbies, a chalk board and lots of attention, Luke couldn't handle the intenisty of getting his teeth looked at and cried throughout the entire experience. Fortunately the office took a picture and now has it part of their memories. He's recovered and seems to enjoy his new blinking toothbrush.

Southern California Trip

I'm going back a few months to fill you in on some fun events. One was my trip with my sister Kelly and my niece Ms. Madeline. Vince was a having a fabulous trip back east to see the Allmans which means I got a fabulous trip down to LA/San Diego with my sister. A deals a deal. And no trip is complete without seeing Shamu at some point......

Better Late Than Never

I probably should have created this upon the arrival of Luke. After seeing other friends use this as their family album I regret never participating... hence the Blatney Family Blog. Luke is now 2 years old and we're awaiting the arrival of a second Blatney due in October. The sex will hopefully be determined at next week's ultrasound and now I have somewhere to post the news. I have alot to add but here's the most recent Luke photo. More to come......
